The Pink Edsel
Yes, there WERE bars and clubs outside of Provincetown — especially in the high-octane and heavy makeup days in the 70s! The main spot to hang and boogie-woogie in Falmouth was at the Pink Edsel nightclub. One of the more popular acts to perform there was the Boston-based lip sync act known as The Great Pretenders.
