Aspen
Wondering what Aspen was like in the 70s when drugs ran rampant and territorial fights on the slopes were common? When there was a bit of a Wild West gangland feel to it, especially in those days where an eight ball of cocaine could be bought from the waiter at your local eatery and a handful of “Ski Gangs” were in charge. Members of the Eagles were hanging around in those days, too. Along with Jimmy Buffett, John Denver, Hunter Thompson and many more cultural and musical icons. This was the era that saw the rise of the original “Ski Bum” generation too, as college kids migrated up the Rockies to partake in the shenanigans. Just like today, too, the ultra-rich were safely ensconced in their ski-in ski-out condos while the parties raged in the underground bars in town. These tees feature some of the places where it went down, wear them and connect to that bygone Aspen!
