Abel Moses
Here's a throwback from the late 70s and early 80s. Abel Moses was a small bar and grill near campus that featured "surprisingly good" bar fare to the bellbottomed Austinites back in the day. Local Austin bar owner in that era, Jim Lawson, opened Abel Moses in 1974. He was also responsible for other notable (and also gone) Austin joints including Charlie Spooner's and The Steamboat.
