The capo di tutti capo sandwich joints to EVER exist in the Tusk...Solomon’s “King of Sandwiches”, needs no introduction to those who chowed down in this iconic UA hangout. And it WAS a big time hangout, too. The best hot subs were devoured downstairs at 10th and University, downstairs from the rowdy upstairs seen up a flight of stairs at The Varsity. It was a win-win destination for thousands of students (and locals and professors too) back in the day in old Tuscaloosa.
