Nepenthe

$29.50 USD

Bottom line...Nepenthe was a giant among the legendary 70s/80s Ft. Lauderdale “teen” clubs. Initially opened as an under-21 spot, it was far from “kiddy,” it featured a sunken stainless steel dance floor and a Richard Long sound/light system (the guy who put in the system at the Paradise Garage in NYC). Blacks, Spanish, punks, whites...all danced and boogied at Nepenthe...and no one had a problem with it! Beautiful waitresses dressed up as sexy Cleopatra’s offered a drink called “Nepenthe Potion” which arrived “smoking” on dry ice. Eventually, the club changed into a throbbing, popper-feuled men’s bar and lived on until 1989 when the music stopped as the neo-90s began

That’s not dark grey

The shirt is light grey, not dark grey. I attempted to reach them on FB messenger (like they suggest) but was ignored.

Color not as advertised

I love my shirt, but it's not what I ordered. The pictures show both the dark grey and black options containing the word Nepenthe in red, and the white logo in stark contrast. What I received is a very light grey shirt with the word Nepenthe written in light orange. This shirt is more accurately "heather grey" , not "dark heather grey" as described. I still like my shirt despite the disappointment. It's a nice shirt. And, I'm not going through the hassle of returning it. I'm only posting this to inform others, hope it helps.
